Bed Time Teas

I am all about rituals, routines and all that fun stuff that keeps me feeling in control. I always find that my head is all over the place and I get so overwhelmed whenever I don’t stick to my schedule and my daily routines. I have a ton of morning and evening rituals that I do every day, no matter what. There are honestly too many to put into one post so let’s narrow it down and focus on my favourite bedtime teas.

I have always been one to enjoy a good cup of tea to put me in the mood for bed, but it wasn’t until recently that I found some really good ones that I keep repurchasing. The biggest thing that I love about drinking some warm tea before bed is that it really knocks. me. out. I get so sleepy that the second my head hits the pillow, I am out. This may also be because some of my other rituals mixed in with the tea really prep me for bed, but holy moly I have been sleeping like a BABY.

The biggest thing to look out for when you are picking out a tea for before bed is making sure it is caffeine-free. To play it safe, you can always just look for teas that say something along the lines of “nighttime tea” or “relaxing tea.” Or if you aren’t picky with your teas and you just want something to make you warm and sleepy, just make sure there is no caffeine.

I came across the brand Pukka Herbs and my oh my, I just can’t seem to try one I don’t enjoy. There are definitely some that I like more than others but another brand I like is Organic India and Bos. Organic India has an amazing lemon ginger tea and Bos makes my favourite Rooibos tea.
